Southwest Region Agent Assists with Nebraska Case

The Southwest Region's special agent in Oklahoma assisted with the recovery of a trailer reported stolen by a Nebraska couple.  Investigation indicated the trailer may not have actually been stolen.  For more information, please see the article below.

Nebraska couple got almost $80,000 in insurance fraud scheme, court documents say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Nebraska man and woman are accused of defrauding Geico of almost $80,000.

Mitchell Thiemann, 37, and Madison Dekoning, 29, are each charged with felony insurance fraud and theft.

Thiemann, of Adams, appeared in Lancaster County Court on Wednesday. A judge set his bond at $10,000.
