Catalytic converters of 55 vehicles were etched with unique VINs

On April 22, 2023, the NICB partnered with Newport News Police Department at police headquarters for a catalytic converter VIN engraving and windows (glass) VIN etching event. Despite the rainy weather, there were 55 automobiles serviced during the event. Citizens came from various jurisdictions of the Virginia Peninsula and the Southside Hampton Roads.
