Chris Stroisch
Chris Stroisch serves as the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). In this role, he leads the department that serves as the insurance industry's national voice on insurance fraud and crime. He oversees all facets of public affairs, media relations, issues management, marketing, branding, and stakeholder communications, as well as programs designed to educate and inform members, law enforcement partners, and the public on insurance fraud and crime-related issues.
Mr. Stroisch has spent a majority of his career working in the insurance industry. Prior to joining NICB, Mr. Stroisch served as Director, External Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at CNA Insurance in Chicago. In this role, he led media relations, crisis management, investor communications, and corporate social responsibility efforts for the global commercial insurance carrier. Prior to CNA, he led media relations and crisis communications as the Public Relations Manager at COUNTRY Financial. He also served as Director, Public Relations and Writing Services, leading internal and external communications for Horace Mann Insurance.
Mr. Stroisch serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Insurers Public Relations Council (IPRC), having previously served as the Vice President and Secretary. He also previously served on the Public Affairs Task Force for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) and on the Communications Committees for the Insurance Information Institute (III) and Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS).
Mr. Stroisch achieved a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Illinois State University.
